Outrageous - No blogging at Tong High School
Just when school started to get interesting!

Six hundred Key Stage 3 ICT students at Tong High were prevented from accessing their Thoughts.com blog last week. The decision to block student's access was made by Bradford Learning Network without consultation with the school's Key Stage 3 ICT co-ordinator who, it has to said, at this very moment is incredibly angry. In a statement issued on Friday, Mrs Adams accused Bradford Learning Network of keeping students in the earliest part of the 20th century. In the same statement Mrs Adams revealed that many sites, including Flickr, were inaccessible to her students. She finished her statement by revealing that this draconian sensorship could lead to a world wide web student revolt in which students would vote
with thier feet and not bother turning up to school. One student made a comment that he would much prefer access to the full library (www) rather than a couple of shelfs.

A Poster for the wall

A new community has been created on Flickr.  It is devoted to web 2.0 images.  The image below (made from hundreds of web 2.0 logos)would make an ideal poster for any classroom or office wall.  Click it to reveal the location.
